Xenon headlights are the latest generation of lamps that are fitted to many luxury cars as an expensive option. Despite producing so much more light than standard halogens, they use 20 watts less power. The light produced is very white with a blue tint when it is approaching. The new trend of manufacturers is to make the light appear more and more blue (the new range rover is a good example). This lighting technology is also know as HID, which stands for high intensity discharge, and HID conversion kits are kits that have been produced to allow you to convert any standard halogen headlamp to Xenon HID lamps.We are authorised agents for HIDS4U and can supply HID Xenon conversion kits to fit any make and model of car, van or motorcycle (visit www.hids4u.co.uk for full details).

You would normally only need to replace the dipped beam – unless you do a lot of dark lane driving, in which case we can supply kits for main beam bulbs at an extra cost of £159.99. We can also offer 'Bi-xenon' kits to repalce H4 Halogen bulbs for cars that operate dip and main beam in one bulb at £259.99.

Unlike Halogen lamps that use a heated tungsten filament, High-Intensity-Discharge (HID) lamps create light by the arc between two electrodes. The arc activates Xenon gas, which in turn ignites the metal halide. The light produced is at 5000k or 6000K which is closer to daylight in the colour temperature spectrum, measured in Kelvin (k).

Our HID Xenon Conversion kits are of the very highest quality (the ballasts are E4 certified) and we offer a full 2 year warranty. We will replace any faulty bulbs and ballasts free of any charges. Our HID Xenon Conversion kits are plug and play and give you both the look and performance of the vastly more expensive OEM HID Xenon.

Please consider carefully before buying cheaper kits. They often don't work correctly or the ballasts kits may not be waterproof. Others have problems with the cars computer, bulb alarms, radio interferance, ABS alarm, the list goes on. You may spend well in excess of £200 on a kit that is shipped from China, only to find that the ballasts do not correspond to the bulbs correctly causing them to flicker and there is little or no product support. Our products are exhaustively checked and tested.

The kit boasts top quality steel waterproof ballast, high quality purpose made bulbs with metal or ceramic bulb holders that are designed to produce perfect beam patterns and focus just like the original halogens. The bulbs have UV cut to prevent damage to plastic lenses

Because ceramic bases on other suppliers bulbs can make the refitting of the clip or holder difficult, our bulbs are made with metal bases (exclusive the HIDS4U) so they fit perfectly in your existing headlights. Also the H7 can now be supplied 3mm shorter than any other manufacturers H7 HID bulb - so it does not touch the bulb shields in Alfa Romeos, Mondeos and other cars with shields over the bulbs. If you need this kit, we will supply it automatically.
